The PAKISTAN TELECOMMUNICATION ACCESS PROVIDERS ASSOCIATION (PTAPA) is the leading trade association representing the global information and communications technology (ICT) industry through standards development, policy initiatives, business opportunities, market intelligence and networking events. With support from dozens of members, PTAPA enhances the business environment for companies involved in telecom, broadband, mobile wireless, information technology, networks, cable, satellite, unified communications, emergency communications and the greening of technology.
The PAKISTAN TELECOMMUNICATION ACCESS PROVIDER ASSOCIATION (PTAPA) was instituted in 2013 with an objective to provide fresh impetus to the economy through development of Cable, Telecom and other Mediums of communication.
With a mission to assist in telecom sector and value addition to the national income, through development of the ICT sector, PTAPA has carried out ‘telecom sectorial research’ to identify policy, business development methods, strategic initiatives and institutional collaboration and networking initiatives.
Preparation and dissemination of prefeasibility studies in key areas of investment has been a successful hallmark of SME facilitation.
